Dear Fellow Equestrians:

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the Middlesex County Horse Show. We still truly miss the presence of the "Colonel". If he was still among us he would be cheering all of you on and hoping you are enjoying yourselves and having a great time.

This year is difficult for all of us. We have all gotten hit with the recent recession, so Middlesex is going to do our part to help you, the exhibitors. This year we have reduced the show from five days down to four days. That means less travel and expenses.

We are also eliminating the $20 grounds fee. We’re hoping that this helps everyone in some small way.

This year will be the 4th Annual Lt. Colonel James Marsh $10,000 1.3m Prix. New this year is a $7,500 High Jr/AO Jumper Classic and a $2,500 Low Jr/AO Jumper Classic.
At this show, we can continue to raise money to build the much needed Colonel Marsh Memorial Warm-Up Ring for the indoor arena as well as support the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

For you first time Middlesex exhibitors, we welcome you to a part of New Jersey horse show history. For the Middlesex Show veterans, welcome back and thank you for all your support over the years.

We still miss our father greatly and know his is watching over us and having you all here again makes him proud. For you, Dad, please continue to smile upon us this year as we try and continue your tradition of excellence. -- June and Linda
